What makes this dessert healthy and energizing?
Chocolate gives you energy, and can even be beneficial to your health. Dark chocolate ( that’s low in sugar and high in cocoa) is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Of course everything in moderation, I think life would be awesome if we could indulge dark chocolate all day, everyday.
Fun fact about cocoa powder: It has a very high source of iron! Sweet, many people (especially women) have low iron levels. There is approximately 1.8mg of iron per tablespoon of cocoa powder.
Honey is a great natural source of carbohydrates which provide strength and energy to our bodies known for its effectiveness in instantly boosting the performance, endurance and reduce muscle fatigue.
Nuts have it all! Rich in energy, protein, packed with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and much discussed omega-3 fatty acids.
When you need a bigger energy boost greek yogurt is a great choice. All yogurts are excellent sources of calcium, potassium, protein, zinc, and vitamins B6 and B12. What distinguishes Greek yogurt is its thicker, creamier texture because the liquid whey is strained out. Also, it contains probiotic cultures and is lower in lactose and has twice the protein content of regular yogurts.
