Country music has always had a strong association with the South, but none more so than Nashville itself where the Grand Ole Opry radio show was held, and thus the association began. Some of the most popular names in country music are from Nashville, bringing their music and influence around the world, touching the hearts of many with their lyrics. There is a world renowned famous Whiskey brand that is located in Tennessee and there are tours of the place to try it out. This is the most iconic thing to do in Tennessee and it would be rude not to indulge. On your guided tour you will learn all about Jack Daniel himself and how he became famous for his Whiskey. You will also get the chance to sample different tastes from the Distilleries.
One thing to note is that Lynchburg is a dry state, this means that you won’t be able to drink on site but they do have a gift shop where you can purchase bottles to take away with you.
