The valley Jiuzhai-known as Jiuzhaigou (SS “Valley of Nine Villages” in Chinese) – is a spectacular national park located in the SierraMin Shan, in southwestern China, consisting of colorful forests, spectacular waterfalls, turquoise lakes and rare bird species. Although it could easily belong to the “seven wonders of the world”, as it is a monumental creation of nature, but by 1992 was declared World Heritage by UNESCO, while for decades one of the most beautiful locations in Asia.
Named like that cause the nine villages that exist along the entire length of the valley, some of which are examples of Tibetan architecture and Asian culture, seven of which are still inhabited today
The natural “attraction” of the valley are the six lakes, one of which stands the “Lake Five Flower,” which got its name from the variouscolors on the surface, while at the bottom there are fossils of trees and famous waterfalls, a key feature of which is the “curtains” watercreates.
Approximately 140 species of birds, always likeable and a rare species of monkeys live in the valley, while the forests surrounding theimpressive ‘Wonderland’ are characterized by a very colorful, especially during the autumn months. It is worth mentioning that 40% of the flora encountered someone in China is in the valley!
