An amazing light that appears in Keyhole Arch, Pfeiffer Beach, California seems to come straightout of an Indiana Jones film!
But rather than be created with special effects, this orange glow you see is a natural phenomenon that that only occurs during a few weeks of every year when the sun sets in the right corner and the tide is at the appropriate height. There also needs to be a clear sky on the horizon so the setting sun catches the wave’s reflection in the right manner.
Keyhole Arch measures 20ft by 20ft and was formed naturally.
