An amazing light that appears in Keyhole Arch, Pfeiffer Beach, California seems to come straightout of an Indiana Jones film!
But rather than be created with special effects, this orange glow you see is a natural phenomenon that that only occurs during a few weeks of every year when the sun sets in the right corner and the tide is at the appropriate height. There also needs to be a clear sky on the horizon so the setting sun catches the wave’s reflection in the right manner.
The beam of orange light only lasts for five minutes just before the sun finally sets.
Keyhole Arch measures 20ft by 20ft and was formed naturally.

The almost supernatural light in Keyhole Arch in Pfeiffer Beach, California, acts as a magnet to professional and amateur photographers from all over the world who want desperately to capture the stunning brilliance.
The photographer Mark Brodkin was among the lucky ones who waded into the water to get the perfect shot of the light.
“We had to stay a long time in water, I positioned my tripod on a small rock and waited but it’s all worth it” he mentioned.
