Paliouri Beach, Halkidiki-The Best Beach in Kassandra

Paliouri beach is undoubtedly the prettiest beach of Kassandra, the first peninsula of Halkidiki. The combination of the deep blue crystal clear water, the dreamlike sandy beach and the green scenery of the pine-covered hills impress every visitor.

Paliouri is located 117 km away from the city of Thessaloniki, about 1 hour and 45 min drive and is ideal for both families and young people.

Distance from Polygyros : 76.8 km – about 1 hour 20 mins 

Distance from Neos Marmaras: 107 km – about 1 hour 57 mins

Distance from Sarti: 129 km – about 2 hours 16 mins

Paliouri beach offers several types of water sports facilities.

There are 3 popular and very nice beach bars with good music. Cabana and Lefki Ammos are mostly preferred by young people. On weekends both beach bars have amazing parties where you can dance all night long.

Lefki Ammos beach bar-the most crowded beach bar with the worst service.

Lefki Ammos lies on the left side of the beach. It’s overcrowded especially during weekends and you will probably have to share your umbrella with others.  Well if you go there after 12 don’t expect to find any free spot, but you can make a reservation the previous day.

You can use the sunbeds for free if you order something from the menu. A coffee and a small bottle of water cost 5.50 euros, same as in all beach bars and canteens in Paliouri beach.

In the evenings the music gets louder and an amazing party begins.

Cabana beach bar-the most luxury beach bar

Located in the middle of the Paliouri beach  Cabana Beach Bar is among the best choices of Chalkidiki area in Greece. It offers good service, comfortable sunbeds with mattresses or huge pillows and great sushi.

Nice place, nice music but overcrowded as most of the beaches of Halkidiki. If you go there after 12.00 you will probably not find a spot so I would recommend you make a reservation for the sunbeds.

In order to use the free sunbeds you have to make a minimum 10 euros order from the menu and if you want to use the sunbeds of the first raw you will have to pay double for it, yes heard well, you must make a minimum order of 20 euros. For the prices check the menu below.

In Cabana, you can play rackets, have some beach workout exercises and dance all night long.

Koursaros beach bar-the verdant green of the pine-covered hills is particularly beautiful here.

On the right side of the beach is Koursaros that is mostly visited by families since it is surrounded by trees that offer amazing shade and the beach is very shallow and calm, but many young people also choose this beach bar for a relaxing day.

The top of the pine trees acts as natural umbrellas.

There are also several canteens mostly preferred by families.

At the end of the beach, near Koursaros you can take a 15 minute boat trip to the nearest peninsula of Sithonia.
