Honey Easter Biscuits

Cute, yummy and easy homemade easter biscuits 🙂

reparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

. Honey 1 cup
. Sifted Flour 1 ½ cups
. Milk 1 tablespoon
. Beaten Egg 1
. Butter ½ cup
. Currants ¼ cup
. Mixed Spice 1 teaspoon
. Grated Lemon Rind 1
. Salt to taste

Directions:

. Take a large bowl and add sifted flour, salt and spice into it.
. Mix butter, honey, currants and grated lemon rind.
. Beat together egg and milk in another bowl.
. Add the beaten egg mixture to the flour mixture.
. Make pliable dough.
. Roll the dough to 5mm of thickness.
. Cut out biscuits using a 3inch cutter.
. Keep the biscuits on greased baking sheets.
. Preheat the oven at 375 degrees F or 175 degrees C.
. Bake the biscuits for 10-12 minutes.
. Cool on a wire rack.

How to Serve: Serve the biscuits with honey spreads and creams.
