Made with pure fruit and healthy yogurt, this tempting treat is the perfect summer dessert!
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 4 hours
makes 10 popsicles
What you’ll need
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
1 pint blueberries
1/2 pound strawberries, hulled
Helpful Tip:
Special items needed: 10 count (3 ounces each) popsicle mold and 10 popsicle sticks
How to make it
In a bowl, stir to combine yogurt and honey. Spoon two spoonfuls of yogurt and honey mixture in the bottom of a 10 count (3 ounce each) popsicle mold.
Place blueberries in a food processor or high powered blender. Process on high until a smooth puree forms, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Pour the blueberry puree into the popsicle molds, leaving about 2 inches from the top.
Place strawberries into a food processor or high powered blender and process on high until a smooth puree forms, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Pour the strawberry puree into the popsicle molds and fill to the top.
With a popsicle stick or a spoon, lightly stir the layers of yogurt and puree to create a swirled effect. Place popsicle sticks in the center of the molds and place in the freezer. Freeze for 4 hours or until the popsicles are frozen. Remove by running warm water briefly over the molds and pulling gently on the stick. Serve immediately or wrap in wax paper and store in the freezer.
